Pull your EFI fuse for a minute to clear codes...when it does it again, check your codes. If you have a code 34, it's fuel cut.
BTW - adjusting the AFM screw out will not increase boost or correct for fuel cut...it will be a *global* correction to allow more unmetered air past the AFM and...
The Autolite 3923 plugs are about 1/8" shorter than stock...on *some* brands of plug wires, you will get a slight idle miss due to arcing. Should be fine on stock wires. IMO NGK's are a better bet...BCPR6ES or BCPR7ES for one step cooler.
Don't forget guys the effect the stock cooler circuit has on pressure. The cooler relief valve in the stock filter head opens at ~40 psi, routes oil to the cooler, then dumps it in the pan. That is why you usually do not see pressures much over 40-50 psi at 3000+ rpm...unless you have the pump...

I like either a 0W or 5W-30 myself for the cold flow characteristics.
Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 is an excellent choice if you want a Group III oil...rivals the "true synthetics" and will do a great job in a turbo motor.
