What octane fuel are you using? And like mentioned, check your timing. Sometimes changing fuel brands will cause a little knocking especially a off brand.

I had one sticking once and it felt like the wheel was loose without pressure on the brake pedal, it had warped the rotor before I was able to fix it.

With bolts or studs? I've heard that much torque with studs but not with bolts.
