Happens here ALL the time you see people giving advice on 1000rwhp builds and yet they've NEVER had a running Supra let alone anything approaching a 400rwhp build never mind a 1krwhp one...
I still blame those idiot reality TV car shows, EVERYONE is an expert now. :nono:
I used to run the GTE pump back when my car was NA/t, more volume is a good thing as long as you remember to add 1 Qt to the pan.
NLA = No Longer Available
Dumbo: The GTE pump has a longer body and internal gears so moves more volume per revolution than the GE pump.
I believe the GE pump in NLA so they just use the GTE number for both.
The pumps are physically interchangeable consider the GTE pump a Hi Volume pump when used in a GE.
In NGK's "5" is going to be too hot for a Turbo car (NGK are backwards) you'll need a "6" and if you're going to up the boost or drive it hard a "7".
As for the IR question unless you're running it at the extreme end of the spectrum go for it but Platinums will be as good for less $.
If they aligned it with a badly worn tire the answer is NO they didn't do it properly, again if it wore the tire AFTER they did it the answer is still NO.
You need to take the car somewhere that has real technicians not 15 year old kids due to the complexity of the Mk3 suspension design.
To keep it OUT of boost you can either use low RPM or very light throttle at higher RPM, either way it's going to be making less than 100rwhp as you're NOT burning enough fuel to make more.
