Clamps to stay away from are those that have the rack part of the gear cut right through the band, you need to use ones that are solid on the inside.

Stock constant tension clamps will work well if sized right.
Classic sign/symptom of spark blowout, it usually happens at torque peak (5250rpm) I've ended up around 20 thou on high boost 7M's you can't go any lower with the "11" series plugs as the ground electrode deforms being so long.
Will be interested in following this swap Fix, only you know what level your fabrication skills are and if it's within your skill set to pull off without having to drop a bundleOcoin on outside vendors for machine work.

Steel would be better, they need to fairly tight and they're MUCH shorter than normal plugs of that size so they don't stick out.
I'm sure someone here has a junk block they could pull em out of maybe a WTB post??
I'll have a dig around in the shed when I go out there this morning and see if I kept some plugs and measure them to confirm size, they need to be inhex though (allen key) as room is limited behind the timing case.
