LOL I'd be looking at the covers to make sure they're still flat, also allen bolts and a good in/lbs torque wrench plays a big part.

I'd MUCH rather pull the covers and retorque than have a BHG the first time I make a hard pull, getting the valve covers to reseal isn't rocket science. (well neither is getting a MHG to seal but given the amount of BHG's you'd think it was at times) I have a bunch of procedures I stick to...

My "reasoning" for doing this as I'm pretty much the Myth starter on this one is after installing MANY ARP kits both new and used/burnished and using MHG's from the most common manufacturers I found that after 4>5 Hot to Cold cycles the middle group of studs are ALWAYS at a lower tension to the...

Poor motor oil selection and excessive temperatures in rebuilt 7m

I've used the PC T-Stat in the past and it's a 90/10 so don't stress. All depends on how you're controlling the solenoid, if it's a plain switch then just run one terminal of the solenoid to ground and the other to power via a fused ignition controlled 12v source.

Poor motor oil selection and excessive temperatures in rebuilt 7m

The T-Stat "should" be a 90/10 design so won't take too long to heat up.
