    Running lean?

we run 15's stock. N/A's run 16's stock if i remember correctly. you should have been about a second quicker. the J-tube is bolted to the driver's side of the block. its a metal fuel return line shaped like a J. it has a restriction in it (a pinhole for gas to go through) when we upgrade...

    engine and trans. removal

i find it super easy to pull the motor/tranny as a combo, taking off only the fan (for clearance) and wires/pipes/hoses/cables. pops right out! -shaeff

    Running lean?

i sure hope that 16 is a typo! and make sure you drill out the J-tube!!! (and it wouldnt hurt to get an aftermarket FPR) -shaeff

    j-spec vs. a-spec

sure it does, but that doesnt mean you wont feel the difference. when we say its 'blowing hot air', we mean its past its maximum efficiency (around 14-15psi), not that you wont make more power, because you will. however, it is blowing hot air:) keep an eye on those EGT's. -shaeff

    j-spec vs. a-spec

i wouldnt go that far, i got mine over last summer, and its excellent. not a problem with it at all! very clean, too. -shaeff

    j-spec vs. a-spec

eh, it really depends. a JDM motor is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. (read: it could be a dud) at least if you build your motor, you know what you're working with, so there *should* be no surprises. -shaeff
