    Detonation detection. Cheap and simple.

    Already exists "Knock Link" and on my 7M was USELESS due to the amount of background noise in these engines.... Turned the gain down to filter the background garbage and short of an engine explosion where the head leaves a head size hole in the Hood it never came back on... :nono:

    Tape measure,yardstick WTF drugs are you guys on........... I use a Digital Vernier, if you don't have access to precision measuring equipment err on the side of caution and go the next size up HG, 2mm is usually a safe bet and it's NOT going to make any measurable difference in performance.

    Around the 9+mm mark Steve. My 280's were on the limit so I went Shimless buckets instead.

    It's more a geometry/lift thing NOT springs, the bigger Cams actually "wipe" the Shim off the top...

    Incorrect, they do "make power" if the lift/duration is greater than stock you get a bigger window for cylinder filling and a bigger boom.

    I had 2 non German pumps that died the first time on boost.... :nono: (started howling badly ALL the time) Returned them and got 2x Tsunami's ran them for a bit till I got sick of the noise then got the 2x Densos.

    Not really going to see any power gains with stock cams+pullies..... All it's going to do is shift the powerband around some then the Dyno will lie when it see's a stronger pull up onto the ramp.

    A bud here has a 96/400 with that front another has an early Active car with the catfish front, no comparison :)
