Unless they've been torqued to 130+ft/lbs I wouldn't be too concerned at the ARP's, I used to replace the Nuts every 5th tear down.

There is only xx room above the tire no magic shock is going to alter this fact.
for 95% of people a well matched Spring/Damper combination will do the trick, no use having 99 way adjustable shocks if only 4 of those adjustments suit the car dynamics...

As I said I ripped one up with much less than that, it did make STUPID low/mid range though as it was a GT30r with a .63 AR, went dead flat/choked at 5000 but would boost off idle....
You could feel the 58 getting sadder each day ;)
I stressed a fresh rebuilt w58 with less than that....
It's the Torque that tears them up, in addition to that most 58's have worn through the hardening on the mainshaft snout by now and the shit selection of clutches available and it just doesn't make sense.
