    Bubble flares are one of the most demanding flares on tooling to do SG, that shit is so hard... Wouldn't imagine SS is going to be a great material for the heater core gonna be interesting to see how it performs, If I were doing it I'd have gone Al.

    "Bubble flare" and yep it stops the hose sliding off, good luck doing one in SS though... (would be far easier to use thickwall tube and and turn it in a Lathe)

    2mm is a default thickness that works well for these engines, I'd go for it. More than likely a Cometic Rich has made for him so all good.

    Yep backing is always Steel in a TriMetal bearing Sean, this guy said it rodknocked then wasn't driven again...... :nono: Just wanted to point out a magnet isn't a conclusive test in this case.
