    Until you post a pic showing the numberplates.... If you "don't care" why bother? Just buy a decent alarm with an immobiliser and you're set. If someone really wants your car they'll take it, buttons and switches just make it a PITA for you to use.

    Don't like the idea of pushing the clutch in while cranking as it tends to scuff up the thrust bearings in the engine, an alternative if you're not a smoker is a momentary button in behind the cigarette lighter.

    Damn, You'll have to try Poo's method, it'll help once you have access if you get a bud to push on the hood while you trip the latch with a thin screwdriver.

    Nothing wrong with reusing them... As long as none of the layers have any damage or cracks it's idiotic to buy a new one each time the head is off, I reused mine 4 times each before binning them.

    Here's how I did mine.

    You would be pulling the bottom of the wheels in towards the centre of the car, top should pretty well stay where they are.
