    digital photographt (non photoshopped)

i didn't want an awesome digicam to use for photography. i have an oldschool cannon A1 for that. i needed something that's durable, waterproof, shockproof, etc... and here it is: olympus stylus 770sw. shockproof to 5ft (i already dropped it down the stairs, no problems!) and waterproof to 33ft...

    That damn hardpipe.

oh i know that, as mine's been looped from the hardpipe back to the nipple for years. i was curious if it would hinder flow, or result in a loss of cooling to the #2/3 cylinder section of the head. :) i'd rather stick a small coolant filter in there, and have it act as a bypass setup than...

    Pop-out Targa Top

jordan, it'd be a good idea to get people with relatively stock cars, mildly modded, heavily modded, braced, unbraced, etc... to test for you as well. that way you might be able to figure out if there's any difference in rigidity.

    That damn hardpipe.

i wonder what type of cooling that small line offers when it enters back in through the head via that small nipple on the lower intake manifold, as well as if that's needed to keep the coolant circuit operating smoothly...

    Calling all "old-school" MKIII enthusiasts

there are few cosmetic bits that i'd change. one being the height of the headlights, the other being the height of the suspension. other than that? the chassis is mint how it is. :)

^ don't pull the nut all the way off. leave it partially threaded, otherwise when you pull, you get a mouth full of steering wheel. trust me. ;)

    lets discuss electric water pump

the water pump should always be running. otherwise you'll overheat. think about it- you have the e-pump hooked to a switch, your thermostat opens, and the coolant doesn't move anywhere because it's not getting pumped. the radiator will see very, very little hot coolant, and when there's no...
