Mine does something similar except likes to float around wherever it wants. I can fill it up and the gauge will go to full but when I start driving it around it'll just float around.
I'm trying to convince my father (Who owns a machine shop) to buy a 5th axis cnc vert mill. We've already got a 4th axis, just have to finish wiring it up.
We were actually playing with the idea of making the stock TB but bigger. Also making titanium turbine wheels instead of the steel ones as...
Nope, no codes. I've checked the ISCV per the resistance test and it's 21 and 22 ohms across all of them. I've checked all the wires from the ecu to the iscv and they're good. Manually stepped the motor from one side to the other, neither way is 'fully' closed. The rubber grommet is in there...
Do you know of a shop around the central VA area? I can't find a tuner near me. Scott Hennessey is in richmond but each time I call, nothing. Several other shops around here only touch shit with vtec, ugh.
Try pinching the ISCV hose and see if it tries to idle down/stall. Your ISCV might not be moving.
This also might be silly but do you have any CEL's?

Also, look into driftmotion.com for your headgasket and arp studs. Not saying you can't get them anywhere else but if you call Aaron he'll be very helpful...
I suggested this in your build thread, setting the ignition timing brought my idle down quite a bit. The fuel cut rpm is 1600-1200 according to the TSRM. It's 1800-1200 on a 7mge.
I have a non-altered 1jzgte engine+harness+ecu and other goodies in a the jz FS section for 2k. (This is not advertising)
I've been seeing them for around 2500 but no clue if the harnesses have been chopped or anything.
