As for Rajunz comment about the stock ct-26 gaining 10rwhp for each psi above 14. I was under the impression the gains were even less than that. I've been hesitant to turn my boost above 15psi on an upgraded ct-26. I guess there's defintely power to be had, at least until 18-20psi.
I'm using Aaron's spearo replica with 3" piping. I have no problems, he included 3"-2.5" 90 degree reducers with my kit. I had to cut them down some, but no fitment issues.
Ahaha glad I'm not the only one. On the way to the dyno I realized my valve cover gasket reseal wasn't worht a crap. I was spilling all over the road the trip down, it was bad. The dyno guy didn't seem to care that I was coating his floor and my fan was spraying it everywhere (good thing im...
You can, but its not easy. I tried and never could reach them, but abuddy of mine did it without a problem.
As for the straps. I tried jacking it up in place and starting the bolts but I don't think it worked. I started one side of each strap first. Then I'm pretty sure I just set the tank on...
I just replaced the clutch, but the trans had to come out, so thats half the battle. My brother swapped a auto to 5spd in his 3000gt last year. I can ask him for any advice or problems he encountered. It's pretty straightforward from what I gathered.
I also have a hardcopy of the TSRM, very useful.
Hehe im running 16psi on upgraded ct-26 on stock headgasket (retorqued) with a really good tune so i dont detonate. I got a spare engine awaiting rebuild though, so I'm prepared for meltdown.
Shouldn't be any fluid leak, its just a vaccum line. Just cap off the nipple on the accordian hose and you should be fine. I guess if you broke the whole valve off it could cause problems.

Hey man I just did my clutch last weekend (spec stg3). Let me know when your planning on doing the swap and I'll come give you a hand while its fresh in my mind. I just got the factory flywheel resurface after hearing bad stories about daily driving a lightweight flywheel.
Before you dump the money into an AFPR I"d try and tune it with the SAFC and see if thats enough to lean you out. The J-Tube is in the engine bay, just follow the fuel return line down the block and you will see it.
