    Random pop or backfire

I get that too, I dynoed to check it out. The tuner assured me it was normal especially for inline 6s. The only time it gave me problems was when my idle was really low the pops would try and stall the car out. Also I have no cat if that could be part of the cause.

How to: Valve Cover gasket replacement (help)

Well mine are leaking down the whole engine now after I replaced the seals. Actually spilling onto the road as I drive. I only did RTV around the corners, not along the whole gasket. Now I have to re-do them :<

    Getting Dynoed, Lexus Question

I just got it rebuilt/upgraded by a local shop called BNR Supercars. It's a hybrid with a stage 3 garrett impeller, and he clipped the exhaust 12 degrees. He works on the CT-26s pretty often so he worked out a good combination for my power goals. Don't know the exact trim size but I think its...

    Getting Dynoed, Lexus Question

Well back from the dyno, still hitting fuel cut at about 16psi. It doesn't matter though because my clutch slips that high anyway. Put down 347hp at 15 psi. For anyone wondering I didn't run out of fuel with the 440s. Just bumped up the fuel pressure to about 40psi and it was fine. At first...

    Getting Dynoed, Lexus Question

I'm hitting fuel cut at my wastegate's lowest setting, so off to the dyno to get tuned. I'm not running 550s, just an upgraded fuel pump and AFPR to bump up my pressure. I just don't want to run lean on the way to the dyno. I read somewhere that if I don't WOT then the ECU will steal read off...

can you heli-coil the rear ex bolt with out taking manifold off????????

Yeah but if he takes off the manifold more bolts will strip out. Believe me I know :D. Still he should just replace them all while he's there. Some are very hard to reach even with a 90 degree drill attachment. And you need to make sure you go in straight or bad things will happen.

Inaccurate fuel gauge, and no warning light

Yeah you just need to clean up the sender unit. SOGI has a how-to on it. http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=47&wcal4ulogin=35a115ae47399a399d1338bde204eab9

FPR goes in this weekend, how much pressure??

Just set it to stock specs until you need to modify it (on the dyno i assume). IIRC its between 32 and 40psi. You probably want to set it to a tad under stock if your running the 550s though.
