To give you a feeler for what building a 7m costs... I've spent about 14k on a motor/head/new parts/ and supporting mods and am probably sitting on about 340whp w/o tuning. Another 1k in parts I should have 400+ w/ tuning. To get the 7m to a point where it was ready for more power...cost...

Hey everyone. As a lot of us do, I deleted my AC in May this year because of Hardpipe conflicts with the AC lines. Anyways...I was wondering if it is cooler to keep the targa on during the 90+ degree days and stay out of the sun...or is it cooler taking the targa off for increased airflow...

My brother rebuilt my trunk deck so that the sub is recessed into the spare tire compartment. Targa fits over nicely, and a mk4 spare fits as well. Just not a full size spare. Check my sig link for pictures.

Car has to be running and warmed up when you check the dipstick. You said earlier you were checking it when it's off (this could be your mistake perhaps?). Car has to be On/Running/idling when checked.....just to be clear ;)

Well...with the MBC, intake and exhaust, you're doing pretty well..probably about 260whp...which will outrun most of the Stage 1 STI's in the area...and just about anything non v8 and NA 6's and 4 bangers. I really enjoyed my car when it was at that point. What are your longterm power goals...
