Sorry i do not have the measurements and it is tucked between the fendor and liner so it would take a bit to get at. However, here is a picture of it next to the stock CC that it replaced. I should mention that i was told that it was off of a TTR so not sure if it is smaller then a normal JDM...
As others have mentioned the JDM CC is much smaller and designed to work. I purchased one on here a while back by positing a WTB thread. I then ran the feed line to the (US) passenger side fenderwell and mounted the CC in there. I now dont have that huge bastard in my engine bay, have a place...
So i finally finshed up all of my winter projects (i know its the start of summer) and while the car drives smooth it won't boost past about 5 pounds. I first ran the turbo/Wastegate with no washers and it hit 5 pounds so i put a washer behind it hoping to up the boost a little but still stay...
Hey everyone i was just wondering what if anything you have done to water proof your cold air intakes. I have the Weapon R system and the intake is basically right under the passenger headlight. I was thinking of getting the AEM air Bypass valve but it states on there website that it is NOT...
Alright, I just received my new CC and need to fab up a bracket. Now I know the premise behind the CC but not the actual internal operation of it. Does the CC need to remain in a vertical position to work or can it be mounted horizontally. Any help would be appreciated.
This thing is retarded great work. While it may cause some blind spots i really like the look of the rear side window delete you did. I cant wait to see it painted.
ill be there for sure but don't know if ill bring the supra or not. I take it the race track is Mid America in IA? I am so glad i found this i can't wait to see more Supra's!!!
Cyrus from what i have read if you are staying at or near stock power levels the Felpro kit should be fine. However, most people recomend that you discard the egr cooler gasket and get one direct from toyota. Also, if the kit comes with an oil pan gasket don't use it and instead use FIPG.
Not sure if your gasket had it or not but the stock Toyota gasket has a raised circle in the gasket to help seal it. Also like the others have said make sure you remove all of the old gasket. This was the biggest PITA of the whole turbo swap i did. I removed the two studs (but you dont have...
My wife bought me something from them for my B-day a while ago. It took four calls and like 8 weeks to get my pieces and when they showed up the quality was crap. I never even used the pieces they are still sitting. I also thought they made their own pieces but mine were imported from Mexico...
Hmm if results like this is what you get with OCD sign me up!! Unfortunately im on the other end of the specturm and believe me no one wants to see the results of a lazy slacker. Great work on the car. I cant believe how much you do that no one will ever even see. Your car is an inspiration...
Thanks Poodles i was going to place it where the windshield washer fluid resevoir was (as i removed it) and put the cap up through the hole for easy checking and refilling. However, if it is gravity fed that wont work. Maybe ill just look into the NA one.
So i am thinking about moving my PS resevoir to inside the (US) passenger side fender and was wondering if i did that would i still need the PS cooling hard lines? My thinking is that by moving the PS resevoir to someplace outside the engine bay it will act as a cooler of it's own. However, it...
I believe from what ive read that the CC vents excess pressure from the gas tank and also keeps a constant 2 psi of pressure in the tank. And yes i believe that the hose venting to the wheel area is fine but i figure ill through a small one on there anyways.
Thanks for the responses guys. IJ that is exactly what i will do. Now does anyone know if the CC needs to maintain a certain size to still be effective or can i go as small as i find? With the spot i have picked out i can go decently big, but if i go small enough then i can also use that spot...
