I love my HKS SSQV II

    blitz turbo timer

Yep...pull the lower cover off under your steering column and you should see the ignition harness coming from the column. You unplug it and plug this harness in between the two connectors putting it inline to the ignition harness. The smaller connector goes to your timer, of course.

A pic of the harness would help. They typically plug into your ignition harness under the dash coming out of your steering column.

WOO HOO! My boy got some ink!

I had originally posted it in the general MKIII forum...a mod generously moved it for me. :D He's actually ran low 14's with it -- 14.1/.2. It's bone stock minus headers and a small cam....it MIGHT have 275 HP. We're talking about a 3800lb car here, too. :p

    ct 26 question

    That's a bone stock CT26. Worth about $100 if it's good...

@ Skater -- when I said "my boy", I really meant "my boy"...as in my son. LOL!

WOO HOO! My boy got some ink!

No, not that kind of ink...his '73 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus (Roadrunner clone) is in this month's Mopar Muscle! To make this an official MKIII post, here's a pic of his '89 MKIII...LOL! And the article on his '73 --

Is the RHD one running and ready for the road? If not, why trade two projects for another one you are going to be frustrated with in no time? If I remember correctly from your first post in this thread, one of the ones you have has quite a list of mods despite the short block being toast. Is...

    Front mounter intercooler sizes

I don't see where you mentioned what your current setup is or what your plans are. If you're running a bone stock CT-26, there is no advantage to an after market FMIC other than for the looks. If you plan on going with a bigger turbo and injectors, then by all means a FMIC will help you in the...

Seriously done with the *&^$@# car!

Yessir...that I was. My daughter had called me this morning with a complaint about how her Barracuda started pulling hard to the left and the front tires were squealing. Discovered a tie rod about to fall apart...so I'll be rebuilding the front end of a '67 Barracuda tomorrow and Friday, too...

Seriously done with the *&^$@# car!

LOL...thanks all. I've been wrenching on cars for 30 years. This is nothing new...I'm not as young as some of you may think. :) Some of you already know I have a stable of pre 73 muscle cars too. Parting this one out to buy a Civic? LMAO...I needed that...um, HELL NO! Honda is worse than...

Seriously done with the *&^$@# car!

Seriously. I am so done with this f'n car. Every day it's something new. Today, I back into my driveway and I see a trail of coolant drips leading up the driveway in front of me. Coolant is drooling out of what looks like the bottom of my water pump where it mates to the block. Just out of...

It Runs!!! But..... Issues after turbo replacement

Strange. Stock ECU? Did you pull the battery cable for a while to let the ECU "reset"? Don't know if it's necessary, but it's something I always do after I mess with anything tune related. A vacuum line would cause you to see less vacuum...at 850-1000 rpm idle on my car my vacuum is just...

Bumped my boost up today...fuel question.

Yep...what he said. At idle I'm at 17.5ish and at cruise it'll run around 16. I was actually running for a while with my boost controller as low as it could go (5-6 psi) and my AFR was around 12 at WOT. Now that I've bumped my boost, I'm seeing sub 11. This just gives me motivation to get my...
