Putting things back together and forgot to pick up some "Seal packing Part No.08826-00090, THREE BOND 1281 or equivalent." TRSM - Page # MT-83 Step 29.
I do have some of the the regular Toyota black seal packing, part no. 00295-00103. Tho I trust this may work, I'd rather use the "off the...
I was just thinking the same thing myself and happen to have and extra set of MKIV mats in the garage. Will have to check and let ya know (I'll take a pic or two).
Without having to look at the wiring diagrams and getting upside down again 1st, anyone have the SPECIFIC info on how to do the 5-minute mod to switch the relay on when I want it to?
Yeah... actually, that's what's prompted me to finally use the RSM. The speedo cable fell apart when I recently removed the dash. I think the last time I checked, the cable was about $80. The speed has been inaccurate ever since the 2JZ/R154 swap anyways. I've ordered the Marlin Crawler...
Nuthin'? C'mon ya'll.
Basically, I am planning to install inside the gauge cluster, over where the boost/oil-pressure ones are at. Fit it into the front plexiglass in a way that looks like it was made to be there. Would fit great in the ashtray area, but I don't want to look that far...
Found issue in some previous wiring work at the foglight switch. Red/Green was making contact with a Green wire at the switch... shorting things out. Everything now wired correctly/good, but still no fogs. Cig lighter is getting power, but fog light switch is not getting power. F/L relay not...
Gonna get back into mine today and check it out again. I used the add-a-circuit deal also and followed Dylan's write up (mine's a 91 auto dash harness). Used the Cig fuse and used 2 15a fuses in the holder...
Keeps blowing the AM1 40a fusible link in the engine-bay fusebox... even after...
'kay, So I've had mine sitting in the garage for over 4 years. Gonna install and would like to see some examples of what's worked for ya'll. I am thinking of inside the gauge cluster. I've heard that visibility is not so good in bright Sunlight.
Can ya'll please post some pics of your...
Gonna enjoy some superbowl today, so have not reinstalled dash. One of the things I will try to do, is create/install a power distribution block and another for ground. That way if adding something later, I can just tap into this centralized location and have power/grounds (switched/constant...
About 90 minutes... However, reinstalled the replacement and still have most the dash still out. Rewired/hid alarm and did some other wiring cleanup. Weather and a starting issue delayed the re-install, but I'm gonna get it all together today.
When you go to do yours, think about all the...
Here ya go... This is the one I removed... the pipes that go thru the firewall connect at these nipples. Notice a good, well-defined ridge, where the stock c-clip attaches (my replacement had poor/weak ridges). The c-clip grabs the ridges on the pipe and on the heater core fitting, tightening...
Have U gotten to this yet? results, tips? My passenger door mechanism (the piece that moves forward/back) is only locking/unlocking halfway. Irritating.
TIA
I purposely do not have the remote start wired up... Using auto dash wiring, with a 5-speed 2JZ. Never know if/when something can happen, but since car is garage-kept the remote start is only a kewl-guy feature I am not worried about. We have/had the remote start in the wife's 94 auto and she...
I have a similar one w/the spare HKS turbo-timer I have, but was hoping not to have to separate it (not gonna use the turbo timer). So, was hoping I may be able to find one at Best Buy, Fry's or someplace local.
Well... I could just pull the bulb, etc, but prefer not to. Also, the ones I have are a bit saggy and I have another shadow grey used set. I was just hoping to go skrait black with a NEW set of front seatbelts (using existing Toyota wire/connections, etc. We are all VERY good about wearing...
I searched and searched awhile back for some black seatbelts. Was hoping that I could get from a Celica, or other compatible model, but never did find 'em. I even bought a set of "generic" replacements, but they did not have the electronic/wire deal and the fasten seatbelt light would not go...
Alot of everything you have around U already comes from there (incaseUdidn'talreadyknow)... Interesting article I read the other day.
