    NEW prob's

are they copper or plat plugs? if copper they need to be replaced regardless. if plat, they are ok unless fouled. i dont think that is likely tho. but if they are worn you might have too large of a gap. you might check that as well. they should be around .032 did the cps wiring do anything?

    HKS Wastegate Vaccum Instruction

yessir! the top port is for a boost controller. if running wg spring only this is left open. so, if you are running a boost controller hookup will be different. if you arent, its as easy as hooking the vac fitting on the turbo to the side port of the wastgate. edit: often over...

any way to tell what trim and wheel size is without taking the turbo apart?

no way to tell without taking off the comp cover. its easy tho, just remove the bolts on the backplate along w/ the brackets and the cover comes right off. just measure the inducer/exducer and figure out what it is from there. since that is an E cover and judging by how much has been machined...

    LOUISVILLE SUPRA MEET

ive been thinking about the possibility of moving the date back a couple weeks. chris's daughter's bday that sat, andy is still putting together his motor, paul's car is down now, not sure if william is gonna have his turbo on by then, and prob wont have my car yet. are you guys open to moving...

    NEW prob's

yes, thats the fuse you need to pull. if it cranks but wont start- go jiggle around the cps wiring. the wiring comes loose in the clip often and will cause it not to start due to no spark signal.

biggest bolt on T04 for the HKS longrunner manifold

chris and i just finished up this one. t'netics 60-1 (bascially TS04) w/ a 5/8" spacer. the comp cover is slightly smaller than a full S cover. here is sean's car w/ a sp67 S-cover running a spacer (cant remem how thick)

biggest bolt on T04 for the HKS longrunner manifold

w/ a spacer you can easily run an S-cover. if you got creative w/ an offset and spacer you might be able to run an H-cover. if you are running FFI you will have more room to work with.

How much boost should I have? Only 7psi?

Kurt- you would only get a CEL from a boost leak if it was bad enough to trigger fuel cut. i dont recall- do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? the stock is ballpark at best. aside from that, it sounds about right. youd be surprised how restrictive the elbow itself is. i have a...

thats what it would look like if your turbo was bb and water/oil cooled. like i said, since yours is oil cooled only (water ports capped) you leave them as is.

ok so they are the water ports. since your turbo isnt bb they arent used which is why they arent ported all the way thru. you can leave them as is.

Octane in relation to gas mileage

yep its called effective compression ratio. base compression ratio + psi boost = effective compression. higher the boost, the higher the ecr. thats why oftentimes there is a reference to safe boost level on pump gas and running big boost requires higher octane fuel.

    Drag radials or slicks?

i had 255/50 drag tires on the stock wheels. the sidewall bubbles out a bit which will cause a little less contact patch but it works fine. on the street they will squirm a little around corners tho. sorry this is the best pic i have

    track time+ BIG power probs

you have some serious issues. yes, the 60' is bad, but that isnt the problem. you wouldnt have had a quick time but would have had a high mph. since both are way off, there is a problem. ic pipes/couplers would be a good place to look first. common problem, esp if they are the original...
