hey i know where hartford is! i have some family that live outside owensboro.
there are several of us in the louisville area. hopefullly since we changed the meet date you can make it.
still waiting to hear the word back from the dyno guy, should be soon.
that reminds me of the geico commercial w/ the caveman.
but really, if thats what makes you happy, go for it!
but i still think 400rw+ is impressive. no it wont dominate everything on the street and no it isnt rocket science to make that much power. but taking a car that makes...
just an update
i spoke to one of the other local guys that runs a dyno. he said he cant commit to the date since its too far in advance. then i found out its an outdoor dyno haha. so id rather not go with that one, besides the pricing being higher than other places.
so i spoke to yet...
you dont need to do that. there is a direct feed from the battery to keep your presets.
i assume this is a stock radio you are putting in? if so, i'll have to look to see what the color codes are on the factory harness.
the fuse is located under the driver side kickpanel.
all you need for the headunit to turn on is 12v at the batt and ign line and ground. id check the fuse first then go from there.
you (and poss others) might find this calculator useful.

what ive found on bigger turbos is they usually have lower tq numbers compared to hp but often hold it flat to redline. most of the smaller turbos (such as the ct upgrade) will peak quick then fall...
yeah fishy like its been in the bottom of a lake. mine looked brand new when it came out of the tank.
as far as draining, you could always use an electric siphon or the fuel pump itself. id rather do that than the drain plug since they are often covered in undercoat and sometimes hard to get...
hahahaha +1
im working on the dyno details now.
i had considered RTC, but thats a good distance from louisville.
im shooting for solid plans by next week. and yes im setting it up for oct 14. and yes 2006.
i was going to start another thread, but i think it would be best to have as much info in one thread instead of scattered about.
for those who dont know, you can now monitor and log egt data w/ the maftpro.
all you need is the AEM egt probe adapter kit found here...
widebands for the maftpro i would suggest either the innovate LC-1
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lc1.php
or the plx sm-afr
http://www.plxdevices.com/products_SMAFR.htm
wow! your mph is about 10mph atleast. if you had like an insane 60' maybe, but a 2.15 i would expect 77-80mph.
looking thru my timeslips from a few years back i had a 2.3 60' and ran 9.01@86mph now this is a high mph for the et, but that was because i managed to smoke the tires about 100'...
no worries mike. its better to research and ask questions rather than dive into something head first without knowing what is going on.
as far as the maftpro and accessories, it depends on how you want to run it as to what all you need.
no, you still need the 550cc injectors. stock...
yes it would help. as rich as they run from the factory from 4.5K+ you could tune it in to 11.5-11.8 range and pick up some power. prob along the lines of 15-20rw or so.
