again, it depends where you wire it.
as outlined above, if the SAFR is intercepting the output of the VPC (to the ECU), you set it for karmen. if you are being crazy and have intercepted the MAP sensor input the VPC you set the SAFR to pressure sensor.
totally depends on how you wire it.
the best way to wire it is like this:
VPC->SAFR->ECU
the VPC's KV output is pretty dirty...that way you have the SAFR cleaning up the VPC's output.
i have the 6 puck version w/a ACT PP and the RPS FW. @ the time HPF said the only Al FW they would support w/the feramic was the RPS....and i think they have changed that claim now.
as far as feel, the disc is fantastic. no chatter, etc.....just a very short engagement. much better than any...
i cannot recommend attempting to use anyone else's settings....you're just asking for trouble.
no mention of any sort of mixture monitoring device in your list. get a WB, learn to use it.
likewise, no mention of any sort of timing retarding device....the GE's timing tables are far too...
This thread will serve as an archive of all MAFT pro questions asked in this forum. I will leave individual threads up for a few days and then merge them into this thread.
sounds like you haven't configured your WB in the MAFT pro....
update to 4.80, that should help a bit. the individual settings for TPS/MAP will vary from car to car.
sounds about right for a stock car. you'll need to start doing some tuning....as you remove "fuel" FCO will go up.
i...
on paper, the EMU appears to be fantastic....the problem is no one has really played with it on the 7M. it shouldn't be to hard, just use the settings used to make the blue eman work.
it may be overkill for such reasonable goals, a SAFC would do the same thing and probably be cheaper....
exactly. here's the TSRM page for it:
the check eng light doesn't need to be on....it can store codes w/o turning the light on.
good!
eh, not really useful. what is it w/the car running and the vac line off?
no way to know, you need to sort out everything else...
sure is...
what?!?!? that can't be right....
not so good. you really can't get it tuned until you break it in anyway....
you can easily look @ the SAFC's settings...read the manual and learn how to use it!
good.

i suggest...
1. what's your base fuel press set @?
2. you're not that lean....should be fine for break in (though that depends on how you're breaking it in). i'm surprised you're that lean given your HUGE injectors....
to me, you've got a problems somewhere. check codes, check SAFC setup, etc. something is...
you use the analog.
RS232 = serial communication = programming stuff....i.e. not working w/the MAFT pro.
the MAFT pro's WB input is differential- meaning that the WB input's ground is NOT connected to the MAFT pro's ground. therefore, you connect the purple wire to the UEGO's ground...
