depends on how you configure it.
some WBs have programmable outputs....so you could run a simulated NB signal to the ECU.
you can ditch the stock O2 and then use the MAFT pro to do part throttle AFR tracking....but that is only useful AFTER you have your tune down pretty well.
my process: pull EFI fuse, put feed in a bottle, crank til there's oil flowing out of it, fill turbo w/oil (spin it a few times!), reconnect feed, fire up....let idle for a while.
you're missing the point of EGR.
the intent of EGR is to dilute the intake charge....i.e. make there be LESS combustible material...less combustion = smaller boom = lower EGT.
chances are the alignment cams are rusted solid into the bushing's inner sleeve...VERY common problem on the MKIII.
there is nothing you can do to free them- heat will only destroy the bushing.
get a die grinder and a 20 pack of cut off wheels....and prepare yourself for hours of fun. cut the...
that is the real question....hopefully soon? "season opener" BBQ here is mid-may....
timing control is exactly like the MAFT pro's "fuel" control- you're simply able to modifiy what the ECU is doing.
as an aside, if the KS is modifying timing, it's typically for a good reason be glad...
