some of my notes:
-industrial crimped lines normally have a MUCH smaller ID than comparable assembled fittings....keep that in mind when using them for fueling or turbo oil drains.
-earl's permoflex and autoflex hose seeps fuel vapor.
-aeroquip lines/fittings assemble easiest.
exactly. tunerpro doesn't use many resources at all.
as for the latptop itself, i HIGHLY recommend an older one that has a a real serial port. yup, loads of people have no problems w/a USB->serial adaptor, but they still scare me....
not sure what you're saying. WOT = wide open throttle, i.e. throttle plate open as wide as possible. sounds like you're referencing the open loop transition? that's around 70% throttle....
there will ALWAYS be updated SW for the MAFT pro. that's the beauty of having a supported product....new features being added, new vehicles being added, etc.
certainly good points....as with most stuff, pick your mods based on YOUR useage.
example b: i'm running a 4.10. while a 3.73 is great on the road, strip and dyno it SUCKS on a short autox course....
whelp, there's your problem....
nittos need A LOT of heat to really hook....try doing a longer burnout. you should be able to get a 1.8 out of 'em....though it won't be as easy as it is w/BFGs or MTs....
turbo engines like a lot of gear....as the mullets used to say.
i've seen 2-300 RPM difference in spool time between a 4.30 and a 3.73 on a dyno.....i.e. lower (numerical) ratio produces more load, spools faster.
