This past weekend I adjusted the boost to max out at 8 (up from 5) and the miss/stumble is noticably worse under load. I am going to pull the Autolites and replace them with NGK to see if that changes anything.

Today I swapped the coil pack, there was no change, the slight stumble is still there at idle. The car runs great and and clean off idle, it just exceeds HC limit by 130ppm when idling. I still think it is an injector issue, but which one? How can I determine which is the faulty injector?

Possible that it is leaking from the blow by hose? I had one where the metal tube had become loose in the valve cover allowing oil to weep along the hose and drip onto the block.

I am not sure where else to look, I have checked for vac leaks, replaced all the plugs with Autolite, installed new NGK plug wires, set the timing, run snake oil through the tank, and checked all connections. I considered the coil but there isn't any misfire under load, only at idle. Any ideas...

Is there any particular reason that I shouldn't plumb my intake system using 3" mild steel tubing instead of aluminum? I have lots of 3" tubing at the shop, its easy to weld and I can get it powder coated any color including aluminum.

I know it isn't a Supra, but I just did this to my 1991 Cressida and it worked great with the only difference being I had to use spacers to lower the drive shaft 3/4" to get the right angle. I was able to find the bearing on Amazon for $36.00. Thanks for the great tip!

Interesting, I had no idea that Armor-All was detrimental to vinyl. I assume the other brands i.e. Turtle Wax, generic are the same?

I used a razor to remove all of the coating then scuffed the surface with wet/dry paper and painted them with Rustoleum semi gloss black using those cheap foam brushes. That was 3 years ago and they still look new.
