I don't wanna buy one, but if you wanna give it up I might be able to send it to an electrical engineer friend and see if it's something that can be duplicated, etc.
If, I am able to duplicate it, I'd have one made for you. *shrug* Just a thought

one of the problems one of my customers had is the oil pump from the supra doesn't thread into the cressida, so he couldn't use it in his supra, after spending lots of $$ getting it built.

For anyone interested in a MAP-ECU or a MAP-ECU2. I'm a dealer, and if you buy it through me you can call me if you have problems. I can help solve some, if not all of the problems you'd be likely to have with the MAP-ECU/MAP-ECU2.

If it's oil cooled only then it's most likely journal bearing. I believe Garrett didn't make a ball bearing unit that oil cooled only, not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure.

Take it out, (the whole subframe) And take it to get the crack welded. Then have the welder weld in several gussets here and there (Metal chunks of steel). Across the areas. Then bolt it back up. I've had to do this to a few subframes over the years, and they didn't have any problems after...
the injector driver on the 1jz ecu does have problems, but that's known now, and fairly easy to fix. The MAP-ECU is flat ass simple to tune. It does everything the MAFT-Pro does, at less money, and better. And easier. But getting a stand alone is a great idea, moreso if you have a stick...
I have a MAP-ECU1 on my 2JZ-GTE Aristo, and I'm pretty happy with it, and just bought a MAP-ECU2 to replace it. If you decide to go with one, shoot me an email, I'll get ya a deal on one.
Jeff
Do you have your fuel pump 12Volt modded so that it stays at 12V all the time? I had the same problem on my Aristo, and 12V modded the pump, BAM problem solved.
