Nurburgring is my favorite track. For the Mk3 to handle you need to get the most expensive racing tires,and she will stick to the road pretty good.

Change the oil, cross your fingers , hope theres are no leaks. If the engine is new you should be good. What weight are you using?

I have seen this before. There is a module circuit that has a resister, that is connected to the gauge lights. The resister has been known to 'burn'. I believe the module is around the dim switch or the radio, don't quote me. Edit: Here we go...
