No, it'll be a little bit yet before she fires up. I've still got to make some measurements on a few things and order some more stuff. Getting REALLY close though! My guess is fire up is still a couple weeks away. Maybe a little more. :(

Yeah, I don't regret taking the garage out to 38x38 when I had the house built. I think every Supra should come with a big garage!!! :biglaugh:

I got a little bit more done today. Mostly I worked on the valve covers; but, also installed Driftmotion's SS Clutch Line.

Then installed my Fumoto Valve. Oil changes made easy... ;)

Yeah, they come both ways. I actually ordered the one without the hose barb (because I didn't want the extra length); but, the barb'd one arrived. The barb'd ones are a bit more expensive.

The safety clip is a separate item. It was only $1 extra and I'm a cautious guy so to me it was cheap insurance. :)

Yep, I'm almost there George. I'll be placing an order with Toyota tomorrow for some misc. items and then head down to a local Nut & Bolt place for some last needed fittings.

My guess is that I'll fire her up in about two weeks. Woo Hoo!! :)

Yeah, those seats are the stockers out of my 91. I still need to cover them up before there's enough dust on them to plant a garden!

Like that valve Kenny. Is it magnetic? I'd like to get something like this. That mirror finish on the oil pan is stunning!

Nope, no magnet in it. It is a nice valve though. They're around $20 bucks.

Thanks for the painting compliments. I'm sure rocks and road grime will make short work of it's shine... :)

Even easier when you hit something on the road and tear it out of the pan :(

No doubt! That was my worry with this thing and why I wanted the barb-less version. The hose barb part is threaded in to the the valve housing. I'm thinking of unthreading it and hope that it's not holding anything in.

Otherwise, it'll be bob and dodge on the freeway! :biglaugh:

Without the hose barb, it's almost the same height as the stock bolt.

I got it from Lubrication Specialists. DO NOT USE THEIR WEBSITE TO PLACE ORDERS!!! Their website was hacked and my debit card# was stolen. It was used to buy a $2400.00 Dell Computer. I caught it in time; but, it was an inconvenience to deal with. My advice when dealing with them....call in your order. ;)

I got the full clutch line from DriftMotion, just placed the order.

DUDE GO BREAK YOUR FINGURES AND TAKE THAT EXHAUST SHEILD AND WIRE BRUSH IT AND THEN PAINT IT. THAT IS AN EYE SORE TO AN ENGINE LIKE THAT. I HATE SEEING SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON THAT BEAUTIFUL ENGINE.

Take a look at my build thread,

I paint everything I can. I am not trying to be an idiot, just giving a tip on the engine painting.

Hey, if you wanna see some bad heat shields, just look at my engine- they never came with the car! I had to cut up a salad bowl to make some temporary ones...
:biglaugh:

Lookin good there, Kenny

Thanks for pointing that out. You're the second person that's mentioned it so I'll definitely have to address that. However, it won't be until the next time I have the turbo off... ;)

Pretty Glad over here that you did not take that post the wrong way. Meant well by it. Could take it out, sand, primer and then paint it and you will be good to go.

Nah... I knew you meant well. When I do paint it, it'll be a high temp flat black. Thanks for the compliments on the engine. I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.

Just got get her finished now! :)
