Well, it was Christmas all over again! More parts arrived today. First up, my Blitz Elbow. You'll probably NEVER see another one of these!

It arrived from getting Ceramic Coated. The color is called "Fresh Blast". This color looked ok on their website; but, I was a little disappointed once I got it in hand. I wish it was a tad darker. Oh well...at least it's better than the former rust color it was sporting!

Second, a polished Megan Racing Strut Tower Bar. Yummy! :)

That's the elbow to the very rare Blitz BAG Turbo upgrade for the 7M, which is comparable to the HKS Sport turbo. Too bad you don't have the original wooden container that the turbo was supplied in. This is old school stuff man, like early '90s stuff :icon_razz. It's great to have something rare for the vehicle we're fascinated with.

Believe it or not, this was on a JDM that I bought. The outfit is in Boise. I'm glad no one spotted it along it's journey to me! :)

I spy with my lil red eye a Greddy Td06:naughty:

LOL
I think the blitz elbow looks good tho, little to bright for my taste but all in all, a lovely piece to have. But Cajunkenny, are you gonna paint the head shields?

Carter
ps. I didn't think the Blitz BAG Turbo actually came with an elbow. I know the HKS Sports came with an elbow with the Turbo but i still have yet to actually see one stamped "HKS"

If you ever decide ya wanna change out the elbow for somethin else... let me know lol jk

Yeah, the Blitz Elbow is a little too bright for my taste too. Hopefully it'll darken some after a few heat cycles and the coating cures.

Paint the Heat Shields...? Hmm...I've already been asked that. I don't know yet. I'm thinking of having them ceramic coated also. We'll see. The Turbo is easy enough to take off so it won't be that big of a deal.

Yep, you spotted a TD06. Remember though.......that Blitz Elbow won't mount up to it! ;)

This next series of photos are of yet another very rare piece. This is a lower intake runner that has been Extrude Honed by Stillen Racing. Hopefully the pics adequately show off how nice the runners are.

And of course I painted it flat black. ;)

Great paint job on the lower runners, the piece looks new. Looks like the gasket fits real nice and it can be reused. The upper runners on the plenum
mate up with the same extrude honed process.
Your build is looking great!

Thanks Fred. A lot of this wouldn't be possible without you! Much appreciated! :)

There is a minor issue with my tranny so my buddy is coming over Saturday morning to sort it out. After that, I plan on mating it up to the engine with the new clutch and new flywheel insert.

THEN!!!!! Hopefully, I'll be able to drop her in! :)

LOTS of things accomplished today! My buddy came over at 7 and we sorted out my transmission problem. (gotta watch IJ with the 'tranny' word ;))

Then I started unboxing more parts. Here's a little goodie from DM. A CSI Stanless Steel Braided Line.

Looking good Kenny. We have the same clutch I do believe. Try some of the touch up paint that the stealerships sells on the scratches. From 3' in you can tell, any further away, and they are very hard to see.
