It's not a good idea to run without a crash bar in front. You could modify it to fit the 4" I/C, but don't run without one...
Also, the Koyo rad is thicker than the stocker by a little bit...

the crash bar is still there but the seam that is spot welded has been ground down to fit the IC. this seam will be mig welded shut and renforced with strips of sheet metal. but that will happen alot later seeing as i have to revert back to a na until i can get a house with a garage to work in. like i said earlier i have done it all so far in the backyard of my parents house. the apartment complex would prob tow it away lol

Sorry to hear about this, but it'll be good that you can actually drive it again.
I'm jealous of you for that.
:)

lol well all thats stopping me is the turbo elbow and shortening the intake. i guess i could order a universal IC set to have some other pipes to try fitting up to the general area and then there is the intake side with having to find a way to mount the ps resivor and the throttle linkage from catching on the hood(thoughts of cutting the hood came to mind :(

when you have a supra its like being a fat kid. "i swear this is my last ho ho"
I may have found a tig welder at work i can "practice" on.
hope they dont know what a 20'' long thing with 6 big ports and a 90mm opening is. or a snail shell with holset cast into it is.

idk how im gonna get the intake threw security. that might me hard to explain

BMW manufacturing in greer. but i dont want rish my job so i took it to a hot rod shop to be welded.....talk about getting robbed. $80 for the IC pipe bead rolls,$125 for the throttle linkage braket and a egr block off and i went to some shop out in the sticks and had them weld on the elbow and shorten the manifold. they done that work for $50.

so anyways ill tidy up the engine bay.

btw what gauge wire should i use for the 400lph walbro? and what gauge for the aem map sensor and iat? is there a place i should get wires from?

im thinking 12 or 10. i been lurking on some fourms and thats what they use.. ill get some pickures up of it all intalled before 3/13/13. thats when i go back to work :(

but the turbo is happy and the intake looks like it will be happy by the booster and i thourghly cleaned the ic pipes after cutting them. cleaning the intake will be a BITC#! all the nokes and crannys :(

IIRC I used 10 ga wire with a 30a inline waterproof fuse because my wire was run down the inner fender lining. I ran a tad bit bigger wire as I plan to run 2 fuel pumps in the future, so I've also got the dual feed relay to power 2 fuel pumps. One will be controlled by a aeromotive fuel pump controller though.

At my old work we had a truck come in with a bad alternator and it had bolts like this all over it :D thought it was pretty awesome.

this is a bad one

is there a way to replace the plug? i understand they have a grounded insulator and its tricky, but how bad is it?

aeromotive fpr hooked up to rail and turbo lines hooked up. ran into a problem where the 50mm flange for WG is facing the wrong way but the WG came with a 3/16 thick?flange that i guess would be okay to weld 90degrees out from the 3/8 flange on the manifold?
