front end toe algnment for drifting

Coilovers allow you to adjust height. Height then has an effect on Camber and Caster in the Front, and Camber in the rear, it will have a minimal effect on toe. Toe is adjusted with Tierod's in the front, and eccentric cams in the rear subframe. Not sure if you're asking how much travel you can...

    Kotu's bye bye ct26 build

It's got the stock CT in it and it smokes too much to drive. The engine's rebuilt about 6-7k ago, just ran out of time and money to finish it. It's a bit of a rust bucket but I just need a wastegate, oil lines, and some small things to get it on the road again with the GT4088 and Maftpro. We...

oil squirters, should i wait for them?

I bought 6 new squirters about 2 years ago, My dealership said there were 10 left in the country, I guess I helped make them backordered :icon_conf I ended up building my engine with my old squirters. I've still got the brand new ones in the bag somewhere(just moved so all my car parts are in...

    BOV installed, just double checking.

The air is metered at the AFM, it then goes through the turbo,IC,then out the bov when opened. The benefit of recirc. Is the metered air stays in the system keeping the right balance of air and fuel. Venting will lose that air while the fuel is still being injected because it doesn't know the...

    Only in Newfoundland...

Haha, you walk back into a store with a broken bottle here and you'd either get told "that sucks" or have another weapon pointed at you.

killed by a Ferrari 430 Spider hahaha

Same engine and power as the GT500, it's just behind the driver, rather than in front.

    Pulls to the right...

:nono: Did you do any research on alignment angles before replying or did it just sound good in your head? When Toe is not equal, Total toe will be split between both wheels as you are driving down the road. You are thinking if you hold the steering wheel straight and the car does not drive...

    BIC Divorced Downpipe Q's

If they made the re-routed when I got mine I definetly would have gone that route. I didn't like the noise at first, thought it may grow on me, it didn't.

    31,000 original miles

He's gonna put 5 spokes on a completely unmolested, all original mkIII? Kinda defeats the purpose of it being such low miles and rare IMO. Also.:ttiwwp:

    MA RI supras

Nice, I was paying about 900/yr for minimal coverage on the Supra, I added my truck and it brought the Supra down to like 300 a year, and 700 for full coverage on the truck, I'm only paying 2 or 3 hundred more for 2 vehicles than I was for basic on 1.

    Infiniti G35?

I've always liked the G35's, not much experiance, only worked on a few. The second one is 2 years newer, half the miles, and almost a grand cheaper?... sound's like the better deal. If the only difference is it doesn't have the Brembo's I'd definetly get that one, the Brembo's are nice but...

    max rpm to shift at?

Haha I learned this quite a few times when fighting traction in 1st and 2nd. HP drops off around 5600 but nothing wrong with revving past to get closer to peak power for the next gear. I shift as high as I can before fuel cut or rev limiter.

To jack up the supra... (Need Help )

I have seen no damage using the CM, I do have my car up quite often but I have not owned my car close to as long as IJ. My floorjack's got a rubber pad on the lifting plate so I have seen no scratches or dent's on it.

To jack up the supra... (Need Help )

I hope he didn't mean rad support. I have to put a jack under the pinchweld, get the front end up alittle then throw another under the crossmember. Then jackstand the pinchweld's in the front. Never had a problem, Chrysler minivans seem to be the most common pinchwelds to crush when using a...

Welcome, Where in RI you from? Also interested in why you're going Turbo to 2JZ-GE? Nothing wrong with building the 2J, it's a great platform but there's also much potential with the turbo 7M.
