    Getting front bumper off? help?

Exactly as above. I have some pics at home. I'll try to post them tonight. You'll have to remove the fog lights. Remove the trim and side marker lamps. Remove the inner fender liners... the screws are accessed inside the fender wheel well. Remove the outer bumper supports (They're behind...

    turbo bad??????

You said that it makes the noise when the car is cold. But then once you're warmed up, it only makes the noise when boosting. It could be oil pressure related. Perhaps the turbo is, in fact, experiencing problems. But once you get good oil pressure going through the turbo, it quiets down. I...

    Charcoal Canister/ Engine Bay cleanup...

I am at the end of a rebuild myself. I tried taking off the canister to clean up the engine bay too. I removed the canister, and I put a cap on the end of the line. The engine ran just fine. Only problem came the next day. For one, when I remove the gas cap to fill the tank, the escaping...

    Really tired of this problem

First rule of thumb: If you are getting engine codes, always address those first. I'm not an expert with O2 Sensors, but I know that engines codes are no good. Fix the problem with the O2 code, then go from there. After that, I would also check your ISC (Idle Speed Control) valve. Based on...

Need a picture with the nose taken off....

OK, here they are. I disconnected my coolant overflow and oil cooler so we can see the a/c lines better. I started with the connections to the a/c compresser. They look like they both go to the condenser, but only to smaller line does. After it comes out of the condenser on the passenger...

    black leather $$

:yum: Well, the cheapest you might find new seat covers might be around $500, so offer $300 for the entire interior. You can always go up, but you can't come back down if you offer too much.

Need FAST help, where to buy some parts

If you are in a rush, I would definitly reuse the stock bolts. Just clean them up and go. If that won't work, go to Advance Auto Parts online store, partsamerica.com. They have every stock engine part I've ever needed, and get them rushed. Nate .... Nate Dawg

    black leather $$

Blue interior doesn't rock... it's almost as bad as brown cloth. Besides, the color of your interior should complement your exterior. Nate

    Pwr antena question.

I used to manage a body shop. If you get someone to get in the car and turn the radio on and off, you can re-feed the antenna. Let the motor run out with the radio on, then turn the radio off and feed it in. But sometimes the only way to put your antenna back in is to remove the unit and take...

wtf valve cover wont stop leaking!!!

Sorry to have to say it, but these cars are pushing the age barrier here. Mine is an 87, so that's 20 years old. Bad rings and valve guides come with the territory. Sorry. But if you like doing engine work, an engine rebuild can make your baby run like new.... just a thought.

    Ok here is my dilema

When you say that you threw a rod, did you crack the block, or do you just need new internals??? Because it is much cheaper to replace parts than engines.

Need a picture with the nose taken off....

I'll take those pics for you in the morning. If you have some specifics, I'll get those. Otherwise I'll just photograph all the A/C lines and connections. Nate..... not KW.... just plain old Nate...

    Taking engine out, last questions

Putting the engine back in the car is not difficult, but its a two person job.... I suppose you could do it by yourself, but its your car, not mine. I just dropped mine back in two weeks ago, and my 100 lb wife helped :icon_razz . She did all the engine hoist work, while I guided the engine...

    black leather $$

If you're talking about wraping leather on the already leather or vinyl parts, like the seats and door panels, you're looking at $650 to $1200, depending on how much you can do yourself and who you buy from. But if you are talking about a simple color change, you can do it yourself if you are...

Need a picture with the nose taken off....

Hey man. It happens that I'm half way through a build, and I found this picture. If you need better closeups, I can take some more pics tomorrow morning. The front end is still off, so just tell me what you need.:icon_bigg
