+1 on the quotes from Daniel, it's all about efficiency and you can't change physics- and thermodynamic laws. There is also the bearing resistance which in a twin set-up is double, athough this will play a minor role.
People tend to think about stock twins and their quick response when...
Over a stock ecu you'll get:
-no more speed cut
-no more boostcut
-slightly raised revlimit: 7600rpm
-more agressive timing
-fuelling adapted to more boost although I find them a bit too rich up top.
-mostly tuned for 550cc injectors (I've had two + a friend has one, all are tuned for...
blitz ecu's have an extra board, so do the mines. So it looks like even the blitz's and mines' of this earth couldn't get into the stock eproms to change things.
All partnumbers of the eproms used on the extra board have been carefully filed off, guess they want to keep their technology to...
looking good!!
One thing however, just read your spec list and I wonder if a 40mm wastegate isn't a bit on the small size for this set-up and your power goals, I think you will suffer boost creep with it.
Sounds like air in the system. The line from the reservoir to the cylinder goes up a little first before it runs down. When filling up the system little air bubbles can be in the fluid which collect up there to one big bubble after some driving, so now you're pumping air.
Just bleed it again...
The heat sinks are not for cooling, they are to increase the condensation surface. The plate in the head is to direct the gas flow over the heat sink. The can is mounted right behind the IC, there is no engine bay heat there.
It's a really nice pump and controller no doubt about that, but isn't this a bit overkill for the average 500-600rwhp we get from our engines?
I mean, the controller alone costs more than two walbro's...
Yep, he's right. The ecu pulls them to ground, so with the ignition in the 'on' position you should measure 12V to ground on both pins of the injectors, clips need to stay on.
But, you better fix the errors which throw the codes first, they might be related, but then again they might not, at...
