You want them lit all the time? Not how I'd do it, but if that's what you're saying tie them into the cigarette lighter's circuit. Blue wire with a red stripe: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=Main&Page=128
If you want them to come on with the headlights tie...
I'm not Edison, but thanks. I'll keep my posts up, but if anyone else wants any more info they can lick my N#$s.
I just love the defeatist attitude that's been growing here... let's try and see if we can make this just a little more like SF. A lot of you guys USED to be cool as hell and...
Asshat. :icon_razz
I'll give you guys a little more info... this *might* also end up integrated into a comparator circuit to pull the headlights down at a given speed (only if they're up of course, and it would have a photocell to prevent them from going down when it's too dark). Not sure I'm...
My fog lights are rewired to come on with the marker/parking lights. I would just like to be able to turn the headlights off and retract them without turning all the lights off, wait 5 seconds and then turn my marker lights back on.
True, but don't the majority of latching relays require either two buttons or switching polarity? Do you know of one with the circuit built in? I'm sure some auto manufacturers probably have/use them.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like to be able to retract their headlights with the push of a button. You know, for one reason of another you turned on your headlights, but now you want them down with the markers and possibly fogs still on?
From reading the troubleshooting tips here...
"like a Norse god of thunder gargling a hammer!"
I love those three clips. Although in this discussion they don't really explain much of anything. I do have to say the bit with the tree is my favorite.
You could, but then you're using way too much. Personally I don't recommend that method but try it if you like.
There are two types of key extractor, one looks like a small hacksaw blade (as JetJock mentioned) the other is a bit like a tiny drill bit (I really prefer these). Which ever one...
The dynamics of the two situations are quite different (ground vehicle versus aircraft). Despite that, I'd welcome their speculation from a perspective which is still probably more accurate.
EDIT: That or they're just sitting back laughing at us. :naughty:
Do you have the stock engine undercover in place? I've got a leak right now that I haven't had the time to fix yet. It leaks out of the timing belt cover, pools into the undertray, pours out of the tray at speed... so, I don't leak oil where I park, but when I start moving it runs out of the...
Yeah.... seriously, if you were somehow pumping enough oil into the cylinder that it could soak past a loosely installed spark plug the car wouldn't run. You're either leaking from the seals around the base of the valve covers, a crack in the head, or from one of the plugs to the galley.
Oil...
I refinished mine as well. They're a nice gloss black and it made one hell of a difference in the overall appearance of the car... at least to me.
Kai, if you can't find replacement arms you might try drilling out the screws. Soak them in penetrating oil first and when the drill bit bites into...
