The spoilers reduce drag. From what I recall (found a wealth of info on the spoiler vs wing a long time ago) the pre89 wing provided more down force than the 89+ spoiler, but neither produces any appreciable amount.

Some aftermarkets are steel, not aluminum like the stock arm. Right and left are determined from you sitting in the vehicle.

Welcome to SupraForums... oh, wait. Personally, I'd either add a sandwich plate adapter to the oil filter or install an oil filter relocation kit and T into the line. I suppose you could T it in with the oil pressure sender, I'm not sure how accurate that'd be.

The cluster is grounded inside the cabin. And yes, there are a couple dummy lights that are wired in separately from the 7.5A gauge fuse. Did you recheck the replaced fuse? Hock2k5, either you have the same problem or not... what's up?

IIRC, there was only a difference of .01 Cw between the wingless pre89 and 89+. One of the wings reduced Cw by .02 and I'm pretty sure it was the pre89... whichever it was the other reduced Cw by .01.

CC and gauges are both powered from the 7.5A gauge fuse. Otherwise it could be a bad ground. Test for continuity at the gauge and the CC harness, follow it back. Oh, you might want to just replace the fuse, sometimes they can fail without it being obvious.

I'd like to see it! Thanks for the info guys. I figured it'd be high pressure, but in some cases the air displaced by the bumper can create an umbrella type effect which drastically reduces the pressure further in the vent opening.

That's what I'm thinking too. I figured that someone may already have a good idea... If not I'll rig something up for testing.

Hey guys, I'm curious about something for a bit of an experiment. On the pre89 MKIII is the upper grill area a high pressure zone? Is the lower grill area higher pressure than the upper? I suspect that the bumper may create a considerable amount of turbulence, enough to disrupt the flow of...

When it comes to boosting a GE everything depends on the shape of the engine. If you're planning on just bolting on a turbo and electronics and then throwing 15lbs of boost at an already tired 20yo engine you bet something's going to break. You have just as much chance of something breaking...

I know what it does. My valve covers don't leak, I just to know that if they start the oil will stay topside long enough for me to spot it without waiting until the galley fills up. They look great by the way and the price is excellent. I think a GB on these might do well given the low pricetag.

One word: Shocks, springs, poly bushings and sway bars.

If you're going through relays check the motors and the wiring.

The OEM headgasket wasn't the big issue to begin with.

It's still got to be aligned properly when you install it.
