Can you better describe the "cutting out" portion of the problem?
Can't be specific without specifics, but try cleaning and verifying that all grounds are connected, possibly new battery wires. Test the fuel pump resistor pack and relay. Test the AFM when it is HOT! (mine failed, but the issue...
I was answer what he was asking to the best of my ability... never said I thought the O2 was the issue. Ask the right question or deal with the wrong answer. ;)
I know the TEWD isn't always right.... hence the diagram as backup. ;)
Yeah, it'll just go to the default fueling maps, adjusted...
For some reason i would think it would be more likely that you would have killed the LC-1's output then to kill the ECU's sensor ground by feeding it a 0 to 1v signal... Test the LC-1's output and test E2 against +B and then against VC. Against +B you should see >11v, against VC you should see...
Look at the pinout in the last diagram on the following page for the pre89 GTE TCCS.

'88 GTE OX is labeled as being white in the '88 TEWD. You should only see the AFRs hit the 20's when you're coasting in gear... then the ECU cuts the injectors.

Well, you know for me the wicked power increases come from the 6 boxes of mothballs added per tank and the GoodYear *Racing* power steering belt. I mean WOW.
I'm in favor of high flow cats.. not the cheapies though. The main reason i like them is that they help give the exhaust temps a bump which keeps the gases thinner and as such easier to get out of the exhaust piping.
There's potential there, that's for sure... but don't let the whole size thing fool you. I'm starting to think that a much larger dog would at least try harder.
It's rather disappointing. :nono:
AJ, try grounding the OX (stock O2 sensor) wire and see if the warm start issue goes away. Also, let me know if it sets any error codes. It's possible that the absence of the O2 sensor is causing the issue. Otherwise the only thing I could really think of doing would be a small circuit so the...
