After meeting up with a couple of you today I feel I need to repeat something I've said a number of times previously. The MAFT Pro isn't going to give you "mad powaahhh" all by itself. A good tune of any sort will give you more power and a less restrictive intake will give you better throttle...
Don't ask me AJ, I'm done with this guy (kinda funny isn't it... I knew to quit before ever starting).
The dog on the other hand is doing VERY well. Doesn't yelp near as much when tossed from the roof now... still can't seem to get the whole flapping thing across to him though.
Interesting.. how'd you come up with there being no compression in #'s 1 and 2? Thumb in the spark plug hole? Or, my personal favorite, by blowing in with a straw?
Just kidding. See what the compression looks like both dry and wet and then you can decide from the numbers. If you don't have...
I've only noticed the issue with the stock O2 sensor disconnected. This is why I had mentioned the possible need to ground the stock O2 sensor's wire on the TCCS.
Benchwarmer, you might not be seeing the issue in your AFR. Sometimes my MAFT Pro was able to pull enough fuel to make up for...
Yes, only one hundred ninety seven, eight hundred and sixty two times!
Go to the N/A section and read the collection of the same answers all those other people got... sheesh. I even gave you a link. The stickies are right at the top, you just gotta read them.
Here you go: (this is as good as...
You may want to look through the stickies in the N/A section. A lot of your questions are probably already answered there.

I've been thinking about changing my tune here soon. (no pun intended) This is for a N/A, not for a Turbo or N/A-T. You'd want to run richer than listed below if you're running a forced induction setup.
I need to figure out the source of a certain fueling issue on warm starts (if it's still...
You can log both a MAF AND MAP for tuning purposes on the MAFT Pro as well. Personally, I wouldn't do it with the stock AFM, too big of a difference when you do pull it... you'll be tweaking everything all over again. There are some other tuning tricks as well, but I'm not going to get into that.
Oh trust me, there's a point where it's just stupid (same goes for running too low); costs you more per mile and costs you power and gives you higher EGTs. Many people here and on SF own condos in this little wonder world.
It's a blanket statement... They're covering their asses. Can't have...
Gah! Open loop versus closed loop.... Never could keep then straight... thought I'd had it right for the past year or two though... which is it when the TCCS does not check the O2 sensor? Closed?
So, in a lean running engine how do we reduce NOx? Cool things down with some water?
Let's not rush things though. As much as I'd like a nice header to see just how far I can push a stock N/A longblock I don't have the cash in hand and don't expect to until later in the year at the earliest. Many others are in the same position.
Depends what's wrong with it... a good place to start with helping us help you would be to answer our questions (well, not everyone's... for example if someone asked for your shoe size... I could really care less and it won't usually effect an engine anyway).
If it's just the HG and you...
Wow really? The switch? Damn... and to think we were all kidding. :evil2:
On the driver's side switch check the little metal rocker contact, compare it to the contact for the driver's side window on the same switch. The rockers' contacts tend to flatten out with age which, along with any...
No, JJ, I've been there way too much in the past... that place is a whole other kind of alien. Well, except the governor... he's just definitely Austrian.
How do they control their emissions?! j/k I thought that might be the case here, just couldn't remember if he was from elsewhere.
We know.... we're the only other two people in this area who ever look there... usually with complete and utter despair that we are indeed alone in our unhealthy love for curvy Japanese metal.
