Well first off your assumption that IJ was talking about you specifically was premature... although... well, nevermind.
You've sure got a big head don't ya?
If you had set the TPS properly per the TSRM I really don't see how this could have happened in the first place. The TPS needs to be able...
Oh... so that's not the limited edition charcoal gray? :(
heh... I can see it's toast... just trying to lighten the mood for you a bit. Sorry about the loss, really. That completely sucks.
7M-GE + upgraded turbo + stock electronics != reliable daily driver.
I don't know if you'd hit fuel cut with the 7M-GE ECU either... academic really as you'll probably peg the vane LONG before the ECU could ever read that there was enough air coming to meet the requirement. People have run it...
Jaques... first off, the GTE doesn't use a distributor, so that not your issue.
Test you radiator cap if it's the spring loaded type... should hold 13psi.
Are you getting any diagnostic codes?
Have you checked to make sure that when the harmonic balancer reads at 0º that the number 1...
The felt covered guides are adjustable. If they're adjusted all the way out the opening has spread and band-aiding it is probably going to cause sealing issues when rolled up... ask me how I know. ;)
The felt guides used in newer Toyota's are really nice though... haven't found any that'll...
The #1 issue with side to side travel in the window is the inner and outer sheet metal of the door spreading... Typically this is due to people opening and closing the door by pushing on or pulling at the window.
New felt guides help, but only if what I just mentioned isn't the true problem.
Bah, there you go with that whole "hey! I've done worse thing"...
I was hoping I wouldn't just have to come out and say it, but at some less reputable establishments that N/A money ($25) would get you a lap dance... spend turbo money ($60) and she might even let you touch! ;)
Another way...
Well, the first thing you need to answer is what size injectors you plan on running.
The dizzy won't be a problem, spark gap is where you may need to make adjustments.
Naturally, I wouldn't run the car without a wideband and a fuel controller. I wouldn't even bother with keeping the VAF...
On a relatively stock N/A you won't even see the same kind of difference you see on a cold day. If you do see a difference you're either imagining it or your cat was partially clogged. Personally, I'd look into a *GOOD* high flow cat for a couple different reasons... one being noise, especially...
Some pretty good looking sawblades can be seen in the following threads:

Yeah, it's just you. :3d_frown:
Seriously, I've still got mine for my winter tires. You should do a search for polished sawblades... look very nice. I never had a problem with the look (well, wasn't a huge fan either though) but my biggest issue is the weight.
There are a few other valid considerations mentioned in this thread which you haven't acknowledged checking... So, if you would be so kind as to recap precisely what you have tested it'll make things a lot easier for us to help you.

As already asked what is the error code? Make sure the AC is turned off and don't move the throttle when checking for codes.
Also, the TPS is a wear component... you may just need a NEW one.
