The thing that matters here is that ALMOST everyone who posted in this thread has proven to be equipped with enough problem solving ability to figure out what part was under discussion.
What the hell does this have to do with back pressure? Now you're just grasping... take a xanax and chill.
Bullshit buddy... I've had two in my hands only a few weeks ago. They're crimped on. As i said, if I can find some pics I'll post them up... just for you. ;)
You know, given that the crankshaft timing pulley is the ONLY pulley in that location with any sort of retainer, guide or...
What do you mean by getting stuck? I don't recall if the part number is listed in this thread, if not you can find the part number for a compatible numeric display that is blue by searching "kingbright" or "blue display".
If there's something else, please clarify.
A wise decision.
As for the timing belt coming off, I do find it highly unlikely that it would be able to come off completely unless there was a LOT more wrong than just a pulley issue or even a loose crank bolt. Bad tensioners (from what I've read, I could be wrong) are more likely to eat a...
The guides aren't even tack welded, they're just crimped. The stocker was only crimped on in 6 points the new one in about 12 points on each side.
I replaced every other part and the belt still moved... if you guys insist it can't happen, well, I guess you need to have a chat with my...
Mice and keyboards are supported by drivers included with most operating systems... they still need drivers.
OP, what's the brand of the USB to Serial adapter? They usually do include CD's, they're rarely supported natively. At any rate, uninstalling the device and drivers and then...
Happened on mine (Cuel called it. IIRC, he'd seen it before too)... but the belt didn't ever come completely off and it took a lot longer than just starting the car for the belt to move a half inch. It's been mentioned here a couple times. Not common by any stretch. I threw out the old pulley...
Any of the pressure ports listed in my pic may be used as feeds. Personally, I wouldn't use the pressure sensor's port given the necessity of adapters and other fittings. The port at "5" is 1/8 BSP.
The "2" port is just covered with a plate on both GE and GTE engines. It could be used very...
Good god man.. I posted a link... look at it.
EDIT: You know there has been a lot of info posted about this on here... There's another thread in General Discussion that's active right now. If you need more information or your kit still doesn't power when run straight from the battery try...
Stopper, but your head and block had better be PERFECT. Even just having them cut isn't good enough. They're got to have a RA of 30 (pretty much smoother than glass)... not many shops can accomplish that.
If you're referring to the ballast not powering up off of the stock wiring, then, YES. Every person I've seen who installed them had to power them with a relay. Have you even tried powering it from the battery?
The MA70's came with a 4.30:1 open diff and the 4.30:1 was available as an option (or with certain packages). The 4.10:1 (pretty sure it's 4.10... could be 4.11) wasn't offered in any 7M equipped MKIII and it's not nearly as robust. I can't recall what it came with though.
The 4.30:1 LSD is...
He means that if you're using the stock wiring in the hopes of carrying the power to the ballast you're not going to be able to deliver enough.
Run the ballast off the battery using some good 10 gauge wire and a relay that's triggered by the stock headlight wiring.
