Oh... I hate that diagram.
Are you sure you don't just have a break in the wire? Did you wire the car up for timing monitoring? Did you disconnect the resistor which needs to be disconnected to use timing monitoring?

AND
EDIT: Was worth a try eh? ;)
:naughty:
I bought two of those hoping to brighten my needles until I get around to adding specific LEDs... at least as far as my needles and odometer, those LED bulbs are much dimmer than new incandescent. I used the "WLED-CW5" bulbs.
Also, if you're looking at festoon bulbs the two LED ultra bright...
I'm planning on doing that sooner or later, but I had an issue getting a couple needles back on in the proper positions and I still can't get the damned fuel gauge to show right.... urg. So I think I'm going to wait a bit.
Some SMD packages are easier to work with than others. For those of you...
Thanks guys. That's what I was hoping for.
I'm in the process of writing a new guide/worksheet for the MAFT Pro 5.x software. There have been a lot of changes so it may be a while before I've got everything nailed down... If any of you feel like looking it over and can help fill in the blanks...
In "closed loop" the ECU tries to maintain a stoichiometric AFR (14.7:1) using the O2 (Lambda) sensor.
In "open loop" the ECU relies on predefined fuel maps and disregards the O2 sensor.
The 7M ECU goes into "open loop" at about 70% throttle and up. The ECU stays in "open loop" at WOT.
The green wire is the LC-1's sensor ground, in newer models it is grounded inside the LC-1. In this case you simply need to ground the purple wire at the same location where the LC-1 is grounded.
Posting up your settings would help a lot. Download the current bin into TunerPro and then export the settings to a text file. Just select "Export Data to Text File" from the "File" menu.
OR upload a copy of the bin itself.
Double check these. I haven't installed a NEO... but it seems obvious to me.
For installation between the MAFT and NEO:
1) Gets signal from VTA.
2) Supplies the signal to KS (disconnect the MAFT from KS).
3) The line which formerly ran to KS from the MAFT Runs here now.
I'm not...
Unless you've got a specific reason for wanting to go to 4.8 I'd go with the most current. The vast majority of changes have been "under the hood".
James (JustJeeves on Toyota Nation, can't recall his name on here), hosts a mirror of MAFT Pro file releases on his website...
I'm in the process of putting together a lot of updated information and building a number of new (hopefully easier to follow) wiring diagrams. You may find that previously posted information is missing from my threads..
My diagrams will hence forth be viewable HERE.
The address is also in...
Vf shows up under Ax1 in the SensorMonitor screen in the MAFT Pro and as "Aux Input 1 Voltage" in Tuner Pro.
Supraguy31, go back over your wiring and make sure you haven't connected anything to the OX wire which runs to the ECU.
Well, the main problem is that none of the mods you've got planned are really going to give you any more power. Headers will help a little, the same for a less restrictive exhaust, but beyond that you're going to need more. That is if you're talking about getting 225HP at the wheels and not just...
That code 52 is going to cause the ECU to pull timing and add a bunch of fuel.
VF:
To put it simply, it's an output used by the ECU to indicate a number of factors. The most common use for it here is to monitor how the ECU is adjusting fuel.

See post #4. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80818&highlight=dual+port
I had some issues with setting up a dual port wastegate on a friend's car, but his was configured differently and his car has some other problems that need to be fixed first... the diagram in post #4 is...
