100 is the going rate for a set of aftermarket cast pistons. I've been running these since January '05. They've held up great, NOS and all and I think I am somewhere over 600 wheel. A piston is only as good as the person setting it up though.
You're AVC-R is hooked up all wrong. You tee out the compressor housing and hit the NC port on the solenoid and the side port on the wastegate. COM on the solenoid goes to the other port on the wastegate. NO is not used and should remain open.

Theres no point in arguing about being open exhaust, you need to find out the rules specific to your track and determine which days are muffled and which days are unmuffled.
Your et is a little slow for the trap speed. I assume you are looking at your peak boost on your avc-r? I know that's...
So let me ask this. Do you really even need an ignitor? The ecu has three ignition output channels which run to the 3000gt ignitor then out to the coils. I know the MKIV guys that run a CDI, some of them don't use an ignitor, they just have to shunt a pin on the AEM. Would anything stop you...
It is possible, you just need to get the parts above and do a little bit of work to get behind the gauge cluster, very simple. Tacoma speedometer will build you the custom cable for about $36 with you supplying the old core cable so they can get the dash connector. If you don't want abs you...
Inside the TH350 you want a 22 driven and 7 tooth drive gear which will be very close to accurate as you can get without using some kind of bias for a 3.90 and 4.10 rear ends. Its actually about 99.9XXX% accurate for one ratio in comparison to the stock drive and driven gear ratio, I forget...
I found myself in the same position as you after replacing my wiring harness. I believe the five-o connectors will work, even though they were pricey, but I never actually ran them so I can't tell you for sure. I made my own after hunting down all the parts to the connectors part numbers from...
I talked to them over 2 years ago about this so I could build a racing pumpkin for when I wanted to go to the track. I was told they had a prototype and it would be finalized in a week or so. Nothing was said about them needing to meet a minimum order quantity, just that the prototype wasn't...
It is labeled "spacer"
Also in this link it can be seen in the second pic from the bottom sitting in front of the case. This is what creates and maintains your pinion bearing preload.

That's what happens with no pinion bearing preload. An inherent problem with crush collars over time is they fatigue and bearing preload disappears. A crush collar eliminator resolves this problem. A MKIII rear will hold up fine for you, just get one that's been properly gone through.
I don't know if I buy that. You break a driveshaft, it can take either the rear or the trans with it if not both. If you have an auto and damaged the trans you run the risk of contaminated fluid getting in the converter too. Yeah, that's worst case, but it does happen and it's not fun or...
I have one of the old Jim Jobe 1 piece aluminum 3" driveshafts. Had it for 6 or 7 years now and it's been great, you don't even know it's there and it's been through quite a bit of abuse at the drag strip.
I have a driveshaftshop aluminum 3.5" in my truck with a spicer 1350 joint on the...
I have NPR pistons in my grey car but they came with hastings rings. I have been using them since early 2005 and they work great. The NPR ring is probably a similar ring if not the same one, if you look on ebay you can catch deals on the hastings occasionally. I keep a few sets on hand...
