This is everything you need to do the job in -3 AN braided stainless high pressure line. A DIY plugnplay kit relatively cheap, much cheaper than the kits out there. However it is the summit line lock. A much higher quality solenoid is the hurst roll control, but is also much more expensive...
Like already stated you have to use the crank sensor and one cam sensor. You can use either cam sensor, it'll just change your tooth offset and trigger angle settings in the maps ignition setup depending which one you use.
I run my car with a 3.91 and it's a little on the tall side, it turned on the shift light about 100 ft before the traps. I think a 3.73 would be perfect on a about a 600-650 whp 26" tire car for the 1/4 and would also be good since you can run the 3.73 for lower cruise rpm. That's the beauty...
That's interesting. I was told by Mark from OS Giken USA that they had earlier versions of the kit and then the kit was redisigned later on. I believe the style kit in that picture is the old version.
Just an FYI for anyone else with an OS Giken. I'll post pics once it arrives.
Hi David,
Yes, since you have a TS3B for MA70 Supra 7MGTE, the correct movement alt kit should be:
Part # TY011-CC30M
MSRP: $450
We estimate about 6-8 weeks delivery to our warehouse, and up to...
OS Giken: Yes, Mark got back to me. I am ordering the kit as we speak. Thank you for the help.
Evilempire: I will be recieving the correct alteration kit designed for this clutch. It's only $450 and I can still use both toyota cylinders then. I remember Ron having a slave fail on his...
I guess to better clear up the problem, here is a little diagram I put together showing the difference between the 1jz bellhousing and the 7mgte and the part that came with the movement alteration kit that wont bolt up. You can see how it looks as if it would fit the 1jz bellhousing and the...
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the response. Disk 1 (closest to the flywheel) is 3.98mm Disk 2 is 3.65 and disk 3 is 3.53. They are 6 puck disks.
The sleeve I have measures 78mm without the bearing. With the bearing it measured 83.5mm. The problem I am having is that the sleeve is actually...
Thanks Hotts. What you said makes a lot of sense and after finding a 1jz bellhousing inside pic it def seems like that could be the case. I'll get in touch with rhdjapan and update this thread.
I am still auto. Just tooling around in the basement. In the future I think I want to go back...
I have acquired an OS Giken triple disk clutch as well as some parts for an OS Giken double disk, however I am not sure if I recieved everything. First question should be an easy one. Which cover do I use between these two for a triple disk application? They both seem to bolt on fine...
I searched and did not find a whole lot of info on this. What aftermarket intake manifolds fit a LHD MKIII with a 2JZGTE? I read the Greddy fits. How about some of the ebay manifolds? How was the position of the TB for making IC pipes with he manifolds that fit?
Then why can he not engage 3rd 4th and 5th? I assume you are talking about the spring pins that have to be hammered in with a punch? Those only apply to the reverse shift head and reverse shift fork so would not apply in this case anyway. If either pin fell out he'd still be able to shift...
You most likely disengaged the shift select lever from the 3 shift heads. Easy fix, you'll see when you open it. Just gotta make sure nothing is broke when you are in there since that really shouldn't happen.
Until the trans is torn down we don't know what broke so those of you blaming the rebuild really are making a big assumption there. There is no way Marlin is replacing the gears in the trans for the price they rebuild them for. Go price out new gears for an R154 and you will see what I mean...
