my car has retrofitted projectors and ballasts from a 06 tsx high beams. ive looked for quality hid kits and it really costs about 800 bux for a quality kit but if you oem retrofit it will cost way less.
the year of the engine does not matter its just the year of the car/harness/ecu that need to be the same.
a 90 harness/ecu does not go into a 88 very nicely and the a 88 harness/ecu does not go into a 90 nicely.
just match the same year/car/harness and you will have no problems.
it does not appear to be bolted down all the way. easiest way to make sure the clutch is in the right way is with the pp off turn the clutch on the flywheel. if it hits the bolts and does not run the easy then its on wrong.
no prob let me know. the only prob i have had is the #74 bulb which now blinks but im going to call them and see whats up. other than that its perfect.
spent about 70$ from superbrightleds.com and got everything except the idiot lights and the rheostat still works. only really 2 hot spots and i dont really notice it.
ya but it lack serious torque. the 1g on the other hand you really cant expect much out of it as its a 2.0l. but if you spent serious time and money you could make it fast.
everyone that has owned a 1j has pretty much gone 2j because its so slow until the upper rpms.
just swap the the motor and trans and find the appropriate year(91-92) year turbo harness/ ecu and everything will be fine. use either 89+ motor mounts or you can cut the tabs off the mk4 mounts and use them. search for the mk4 mounts of you don't get what i mean.
thats like saying a 1j is not worth trying to make fast as it lack serious torque. the 1g is almost equivalent to a honda motor and if you put serious time and money + fab skills into it it would eventually be fast. but its all in the eyes of the beholder. im not saying that in this point in...
^no. what you can do tho is look at the door jam sticker and that will tell you everything about the car.
below the bar code on the door jam sticker it will say g305/r154. g305= 3.73 gears and r154 meaing the turbo trans. there were no r154's in the n/a. even on the door jam sticker it...
