if only replacing with a stock hg i would scrape the block clean and make sure its straight. throw some tranny fluid on top the pistons and a little on the ring and let it soak to clean them off.
remove the 4 nuts holding it on, take the fan and clutch off, replace the studs with bolts and watch the temp rise to "H" and wonder why you have a bhg.
