i scrap here and there but it really depends on how you drive go slow over bumps and sideways and you wont unless its a massive speed bump or crazy driveway.
if your clock has 4 buttons then you have it if it has 3 then you dont but then you might also already have the factory wiring for it so you can just get the comp and gauge cluster
ya you will need the comp that is under the drivers side dash, there's a gte and ge version and it matters to make everything for the most part accurate.
you will also need the gauge cluster for it.
its found in some 87-88 cars but not all.
you will have to custom wire it in.
iirc...
you could just modify the waste gate flange to sit higher and there's a couple people in the vendor section that make and sell adapters and do custom welding.
check for codes

then go threw this list.(there more on the 2nd page)
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=16
thats the repair manual/epc/ewd so save it.
what do you expect it to display freeze frames and such like on new cars with obd2 and can?
might be more worth it to just hardwire in a super moniter if your cars 89+ then it will tell you which code and not flashes and you wont have to get out of the car.
pretty much the same. iirc theres only like one small difference. its basically the same tranny as used in all rwd trucks and cars from the late 80' till a few years back.
