WHEN only comes to mind when exceeding the limits of the composite hg. doing it right with stock power levels and no abuse it will last for a long while.
water seeps up into the top of the plugs.
what did you dad do remove the cap when the engine was hot with out releasing the pressure? thats no good. your supposed to wait a few min for the pressure to release or slowly release the pressure by slowly turning the cap barely. there is 13psi...
n/a block and pistons? 30 min at most.(it will last)
if you read the water/meth thread before it stated that you can loose hp if it is not tuned correctly. why dont you tune it very correctly at a dyno and find out how much hp YOU have.
so where did you hook up your scan tool.
as stated before not all codes will even make the check engine light appear. you can have a code with out ever seeing the light.

a paper clip works good for me.
stock bov is usually only good for stock...
you can try burping the system but are you sure you dont have any leaks? any lose of power? milky residue under the oil cap? any smoke?
the only thing i dont know is if it would effect clearances, ive never taken apart a hks bov. stretching the spring will weaken it but it can be put back no prob.
german are more brown black and HUGE usually. i used to have a Australian Shepard and that was the first thing i thought of when i saw this dog. very good dogs too just like german shepards.
