Hard to give personal advice on a forum but this onea easy, if it were me I would get the truck for practicality and slowly rebuild the supra to something you will be happy with for a long time... I was just going to replace the hg on my supra. Ended up tearing it all down and fully rebuilding...

Well it could most definitely be the cause of the noise but you said it wasn't boosting like it was before you took it in.

But...an exhaust leak post turbo will not cause u to boost less. Now a leak pre turbo definitely will and is most likely the issue.

Lol yes in general...that IS the problem. Why not install the safc and wideband correctly and street tune it safely until you can get to a dyno?

So I was a little rough with fighting my stock turbo oil return line and it now has a kink in it. Its not completely kinked shut its about half of the stock diameter. A new DM softline kit is in order soon however I will be dropping in my rebuilt engine tomorrow and plan to have it running...

Count me in for the 5%...well nevermind I take that back if I was given one I would gladly accept it... then sell it, and stick the money in my mkIII!
