chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

Welp I had a suspicion this little problem was going to show itself again...this time I have no choice but to figure it out indefinetely because i have no power to the ecu at all now. Car stalled on me and no matter what wires or fuses I wiggle I cant get power back to the ecu. Upon inspection...

anyone have any comparisons of running with or without the shroud? My shroud broke on me and have been running without one without any noticeable difference. Just curious if anyone has had any problems doing this.

How much fluid does it take to fill the steering rack?????? Where is my fluid going

I doubt you are experiencing the same issue as me, but i had a leak in the hose under the resevoir and it would leak out pretty fast. I didnt want to believe it was a crappy hose becasuse i never saw any puddles or anything on the ground. But when i looked underneath my once very clean and...

lean idle, rich wot, NO boost leak. any thoughts?

Can u explain? Doesn't resetting the ecu clear the learned fuel map adjustments? I have heard people claim their car runs worse after a reset until the ecu can learn and make adjustments.

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

Thank you Nick.... -I did notice the female ends of the ign wires coming into the ECU connector are a tiny bit loose, but when i played with them it didnt change anything at idle leading me to believe that wasn't the cause of my issue (not saying it shouldnt be fixed though). -I don't think...

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

Here is a pic of my ECU pins i don't have said feeler gauge, but none of these feel loose to the touch at all. This is somehow where my issue is and i don't see how. It's not my IGN fuse and it's not my ign wires coming into the ecu. In fact I individually wiggled every wire coming into the...

    Advice, opinions and help needed....

Welcome....The car only has 69,000 miles on it? Why was it parked in the first place is the biggest question, and how much did you steal it for? Post some pics of the body and engine please!! Anyhow, you have to make the decision yourself if it is worth fixing it. However, if you're not willing...

    Fresh Rebuild idle issue's

Okay....now have someone start the car and you watch the fuel pressure while its idling and see what happens. What your looking to see is if the fuel pressure starts to drop making your car want to sputter and die...then have them keep throttle on it to keep it running and see if the fuel...

    Nebraska/Iowa Supras

Just an FYI the guy i spoke with at Dynosport a while back didnt even know what an SAFC was let alone how to tune one. They might be okay if you have a standalone, but for tuning my set-up the guy was clueless to say the least.

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

Regardless of ign fuse voltage (thanks), or the voltage loss somewhere on the ign sw circuit that's where im gonna start when i get home tonight. Hoping my problem is somewhere between the battery and the ECU on the IGN SW circuit. Would be really nice if it was blatently obvious lol.

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

not at all man, woulda noticed the obvious issue there. They all clip and by visual inspection none of the wires coming into the ecu connectors "look" bad/damaged/loose. But we all know what the visual tests tell us, NOTHING!

Regarding the fuel filter: It sits up on the top side of the differential pumpkin. Hardest part is getting your hands up there to work, theres not a ton of space, but i didnt have much trouble. I got the back end on jack stands, got down on the creeper with my head at the rear of the car, feet...

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

Don't think i found my problem aye? I was really hoping it was that easy. But it is weird that wiggling the wires seemed to help, your probably right. Willing to tell me if I'm on the right diagnosis path? Here is the only info i can find on code 11: Ignition switch circuit, Ignition switch...
