I have a Uego, but I think it would be cool to have a VF gauge. Also to correctly tune my SAFC when I get around to installing that I will need to monitor VF while cruising under 75% throttle.

yep, thats probably your smoking issue. I would definitely make sure you find out where that water is coming from. Looks like you found a bunch of little fixes all at once, lucky you. As for the distributor, buy a reman and find a warranty if you can. No sense in rebuilding one, they are cheap...

Not sure how great the car ran before the seals went, but assuming okay, it should run good for awhile....until you throw enough boost at a tired engine to have other problems anyways. As long as you have the wideband you will be able to keep the car running happy AFR's without a tuning device...

I would definitely be suspect of the pick-up tube. Any cracks or breaks in that and you're going to have obvious problems. Since you replaced the oil pump with new, you can almost rule that out. There is an o-ring between the pump and pick up tube though...

Thank you much. One more thing... In theory, if I did this with VF and E1 as well and just hooked up a 0-5V gauge to it instead of a toggle switch are there any negatives to that?

I wouldnt jump to BHG, but how do bad plug wires cause this?

Since I admittedly know nothing about electrical, and I really don't want to cause worse problems, can someone tell me if this would be the correct way to do this, or if there are better ways. I have zero experience with toggle switches. Everything I search talks about wiring something in using...

I would like to know as well. I dont know what it is either, but during my rebuild I just bolted it to the bellhousing with one of the bellhousing bolts.
