By hold the throttle open you are letting more air in correct? Well isnt that the purpose of the iscv? Not designated to cranking though. BTW holding the throttle should not have anything to do with it not CRANKING?

Try unplugging the fans and check voltage? possible to have gotten bad fans drawing too much? hooked up wrong, shorted?

Pulling the battery cable will show alt is charging but that doesnt mean that it is. I would rec properly checking alt, not mention doing that can create major damages to your cars electrical system. Just because it stayed running doesnt verify that it is charging properly. And a bad starter...
