what would you recommend doing then? To replace all the egr components is pricey and not to mention having to pull the head to take the block off plate and install a cooler. How dif will the performance be without the egr system? It runs great for me now, with no issues.

Would anybody know what the resistance is on the sensor. that might save me some money compared to buying a new ecu. Will i still get egr codes though being that there is no egr components? or is that sensor the main reason for a code 71

ok well i am going to look for a fed emission ecu then, and that would essentially make my car run as if it was never installed correct? How can i tell if the ecu is fed or cal?

so what are my options around this(short or replacing everything)? this is the first time the code has set and the egr has been gone since i bought the car? If i change the computer to one that does not look for the change would that work with the rest of the engine performance?

the coolant passage is on the lower plenum. i think it is the line that runs into the bottom of the tb or iscv. trace out the lines and you will find it. should be a total of 3 lines. One that connects tb and iscv, one connects to intake and other is on the block i believe. If you are gonna try...

Well the egr is gone, which has the gas temp sensor. i am wondering if i can relocate it in the exhaust somewhere? or by pass it somehow? my main concern is engine performance though.

go and get a coolant pressure tester put it on and pressure up the system but not too high or you can potentially create more leaks. Only test up to what the cap reads that is the safest.

What is the issue here at hand? "having starter problems again" what kind? we need more info more specifics.
